Knowledge is powerful.

Resources

  • Scripture Statements

Days into my health journey after the cancer diagnosis, I started writing scriptures as statements and challenged myself to not just believe they are true, but to believe they are true for me. They became my Lifeline - the Living Word for my life - grounding me and building my faith, despite fear and anxiety being so nearby. These scriptures have given me hope and peace and have lead to tearful conversations with my Counselor, Physician, and Advisor. God’s Word is Power-full. It’s supernatural. So many people are going through challenges. These apply to almost any situation, so feel free to use any of them for God to minister to you!

  • Chris Beat Cancer

Chris Wark’s site is full of free resources, links, interviews, and more. His interviews (blog/podcasts) with people who have healed naturally or who provide information to facilitate healing have given me great hope that I can heal and be healthier than before on the other side of this. His “Chris Beat Cancer” book and Square One Program are excellent and provided critical information to get me started. Tod read his Square One book and decided to support me and make changes for his own sake. He’s lost 20 lbs!

  • The Rain Barrel Effect and Functional Medicine Tests

In 2022, I started listening to podcasts by Dr. Stephen Cabral and ordered his free book: The Rain Barrel Effect. It made total sense to me that over time our bodies collect toxins from what we eat, put on our body, breathe, and much more. At some point our “rain barrel” gets full and overflows. That is when symptoms, disorders, and disease surfaces. Eight months before my cancer diagnosis, I ordered the Organics Acids Test and the Metals and Minerals Test through his practice (Equi.Life) to look at root issues for headaches and poor sleep. The test results were eye-opening. And the protocol I did through them helped me greatly. I have shared these test results with my doctors. It would be great, in my opinion, if these tests were part of a prevention strategy by mainstream medicine. So many diseases could be averted or treated early before the “dis-ease” comes.

  • Chemotherapy articles

I read various research articles to help me make a decision about whether or not to receive chemotherapy. Here are some of the articles that helped me understand some of the risks.

  • Surgery articles

Surgery can also induce metastasis and other complications, so I researched different ways to minimize this risk.
